While in 7th grade, Alief ISD middle school students are assigned to Elsik High School, Hastings High School, or Taylor High School through a random draw process.

Alief ISD middle school students also have the opportunity to apply for admission into our schools and programs of choice, Alief Early College High School, Kerr High School, Life Sciences Innovative Academy, and the Alief International Academy.
