ENGC HOSA students attended “Healthscare,” an Open House and Interactive Lab experience hosted by HCC Coleman College of Health Sciences. The event introduced students to educational pathways leading to healthcare careers and offered a chance to explore the field beyond the classroom.

At the event, students learned about programs in Surgical Technology, Public Health, Radiology, and other health sciences. Interactive lab experiences helped them engage with concepts and settings connected to these professions while learning about the training and skills each pathway may require.

The visit showed students the range of possibilities available in healthcare and related fields. From supporting patients and communities to using specialized technology and assisting in surgical settings, healthcare careers offer many ways to make a difference. Exploring programs also gave students a chance to consider how their interests might connect to future study and work.

For ENGC HOSA members, “Healthscare” was an engaging opportunity to learn about college programs and careers firsthand. The visit encouraged students to keep exploring health sciences and think about next steps toward their goals. ENGC is grateful to HCC Coleman College of Health Sciences for hosting this informative experience and welcoming students to learn more about the future of healthcare.
